Messrs Atiqah Syafiqah & Associates successfully conducted a one-day training session in collaboration with Majlis Amanah Raya (MARA) on 25th September 2024. The event, targeted at officers of MARA, was well-attended by enthusiastic participants.
Led by Ms. Syafiqah binti Abdul Razak and Ms. Atiqah binti Abdul Razak, the training focused on critical topics such as understanding contracts for non-legal participants, strategies to safeguard entrepreneurs’ interests, the art of negotiation, and the tribunal process—all tailored to the furniture business.
Participants gained valuable insights into surviving in the business world and protecting their enterprises from exploitation.
The session was not only informative but also highly practical, providing real-world applications that participants could immediately implement in their businesses.
The training was described as a lively and engaging experience, with participants actively asking questions and engaging in discussions with the trainers. A compelling question posed by one of the participants—“Are there any ways to avoid being sued?”—reflects the genuine concerns of business owners and entrepreneurs striving for survival. Fortunately, the trainers provided comprehensive answers and strategies as guidance to address these worries.
